Prison Break
Prison Break is an American Produced Action TV Show. Prison Break was originally broadcast for four seasons between 2005 and 2009. The show gained huge popularity during its original run and gained massive viewing rates in the United States. Surprisingly, the show was originally turned down by Fox back in 2003 as they had fears about the show’s longevity. However the sustained success of shows like 24 encouraged Fox to begin production in 2004. The show received several awards and nominations including Golden Globes, Emmy’s and People’s Choice Awards.
The show’s plot is centred upon Michael Schofield and his brother, Lincoln Burrows. Lincoln is awaiting his execution whilst in prison. He has been found guilty of the assassination of Terrence Steadman, the brother of the Vice President of the United States. His brother, Michael, is convinced that Lincoln is innocent. Michael believes the only way he can save his brother is by getting into the prison himself and executing an escape plan. Michael holds up a bank to be placed as a prisoner, alongside his brother, in Fox River State Penitentiary. Michael is a structural engineer with blueprints of the prison facility. Michael uses his engineering expertise to plan a daring escape.

24 is American produced Action – Drama. The show ran for 8 seasons from 2001 to 2010. The show received numerous awards including Best Drama Series at the Golden Globes and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding drama series. The show did receive some negative press for its portrayal of torture in interrogation and perceived portrayal of Muslims. Despite this, the show had massive viewing figures and received generally positive reviews from TV Critics. 24 had a unique style of production in that it was narrated in real-time. Each episode lasted an hour with a clock counting down. Each series had 24 episodes making up 24 Hours in total.
The show is based on the fictional Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU). The show’s main character, Jack Bauer, is played by Kiefer Sutherland. Bauer, in his role as a CTU Agent investigates terrorism plots against the Unites States.
The show is set to be adapted for a Film. The film will narrate over 24 Hours in a two-hour time period. Sutherland is currently working on the script with filming set to begin this year.
